GGWave Audio Transmission
Real data-over-sound using ggwave — the same protocol behind GibberLink
GGWave Technology
GGWave transmits data through sound using multi-frequency FSK modulation with Reed-Solomon error correction. The spectrum visualization below shows the actual FFT of the audio being played — what you see is exactly what you hear.

How GGWave Works
Transmission
- • Data split into 4-bit chunks
- • 6 simultaneous tones encode 3 bytes at a time
- • 96 frequencies in a 4.5kHz band (FSK modulation)
- • Reed-Solomon codes for error correction
Applications
- • AI-to-AI communication (GibberLink)
- • Air-gapped device pairing
- • Offline data transfer via speaker/mic
- • Audio QR codes

Quick Start
1. Type a message and click Transmit — you'll hear the encoded audio
2. The spectrum shows the real FFT of the audio being played
3. On another device, click Start Listening to decode the sound
4. Use headphones on the receiving device for best results
Use Cases
AI Communication
- • AI agents negotiate and switch to sound protocol
- • More efficient than natural language for machine-to-machine
- • Works over phone calls and voice channels
Secure Transfer
- • No network connection needed
- • Physical proximity required (air-gapped security)
- • Transfer keys, tokens, or small payloads
